Best of the Best 2.0

Recordings for Best of the Best is a wrap. Its been three tough days with lots of fun. Tough cause we were giving it all we had at every single exercise. And fun cause the we had a lot of fun competing as well as just hanging out. The group was perfectly set to together with guys that not only impressed me as athletes, but also as story tellers, entertainers and friends. Even though I have no more energy and all my muscles are sore, I still wish we had a few more days. Good times!! Cant wait to see some of the action when the show airs on TV2(Norway) in November. I think some of the results will surprise you. I learned that athletes are often good at more than just the stuff they`re famous for. I won some and I lost some. Stay tuned in November to check out the full story. And thanks to Mats, Kristian, Tarjei, Morten and Andreas for making these days a blast! Never had some much fun hurting so bad.

Recording a tv show this week. It’s called Best of the Best(very humble..) In the photo you can see my competition. Zucca, Kjelling, Gamsten, Wiig and Bø. Norways best athletes in Icehockey, handball, soccer, snowboard, biathlon and alpine skiing are gonna battle it out doing all kinds of sports and games. Cool group of people and lot o fun! Wish me luck.

The Zero Rally experience

The Green Highway is the worlds longest electrical car friendly road. It stretches from Sundsvall, Östersund and to Trondheim. On this stretch over 50 electrical cars did a rally this week. I met up with the rally before they arrived in Trondheim and joined them for the last two stages. The first stage was at Lånkebanen race track. The Tesla Roadster does 0-100 km/h i less then 4 sec. This kind of performance + a race track equals a lot of fun. At the race track I also met up with my copilot for the drive to Trondheim, swedish rapper Jason Timbuktu. I already knew Timbuktu was a great rapper, but he also turned out to be s super nice and fun guy to hang out. And as the Tesla had an iPod docking, I soon had a great guy and a sweet DJ as my copilot. Jason and I rolled into Trondheim in style with big smiles on our faces and polluting the air with nothing but the beats from our stereo. Later that night we had a cool party when Jason went on stage and almost reached Swedish heaven as I watched the Sweden-England game in the Euro2012. Watching with the Timbuktu crew was a lot of fun as the game was very exciting and with Norway not present I can only experience the real emotions while watching with diehard Swedish fans. So the Zero Ralley was a great experience in every way. And I think this is the way to promote electrical cars. By showing that they can be both fun and practical and that being climate friendly is easier than you might think. In a city like Oslo driving an electrical car is practical. Charging stations and parking spaces all over. But it probably will be some time before I can drive and electrical car around the alps. But hopefully I´m wrong. Once things start happening, then they happen fast. And this is the future for sure.

When the gas station turns into food station

Driving an electrical car there is no need to stop for gas. But the body also needs fuel, and the gas station is still good for a hotdog or two. Here’s my co-driver Jason aka Timbuktu getting supplies.

This is gonna be the most climate friendly car racing I’ve ever done. All electrical Tesla roadster

Monster day.

Since my time in Oslo is limited I need to get things done when I´m here. Today was a monster day. Three workout sessions at the olympic gym between 9.00 and 15.00. An appointment at the dentist. A meeting with my bank people and now 1.5 hour of floorball (innebandy) before its bed time. Barely had time to eat in between. Gonna sleep good tonight!!
